A Super New Sticky Product!

Hello friends,
Happy to report that I'm beating my cough and cold into submission so I should be
healthy for TV on Saturday.  I'm going to share some projects with you soon.

I liked Sarah's comment yesterday - "can you do us a video of how you fit a 48hr day into a 24hr day!"
I wish I could Sarah, wouldn't that be something.  All I can say is I rarely just sit - I'm a fidget, even if I watch a film I make something at the same time, I'm also an early riser - most days I see 5.30am!

So, back to today - I can share with you a layout that I created for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
This went to CHA and appeared in their booth and I've just been given
the go ahead to share it with you today.
It features my niece Rachel (who turned 18 last weekend) when she was just a little younger.
What is super special about this layout is the new adhesive that I was asked to use -
this wonderful sticky product dispenses tiny dots and it will stick paper, vinyl, ribbon, fabric,
acrylics, foils, glitter and more... in fact, it sticks tiny micro beads too..read on :)

I decided to experiment with Rose Creations.
I applied the E-Z Dots Permanent just to the outer edges.
I then dipped them into a pot of micro beads.
It reminds me of those chocolate coins you can buy smothered with hundreds and thousands!
Can you still get those?  I think they did them in white chocolate too - I love them...sorry I'm digressing -
back to the flower!
It looks really effective in different lights.
Of course it sticks paper and cardstock perfectly.
And photos.
And even fabric, I used it on this little lacy doily.

The new blue E-Z Dots Permanent will certainly be a permanent fixture in my crafty studio!
It will be available from 1 August.  Tonic Studios are a UK stockist.
I'm back tomorrow, hope you are all having a good weekend.

Hi Christine,
and good Sunday morning to you. The micro dots look really fab, must try and buy some when they are launched in a few days. If they are anything like the ones you got on a roll awhile ago they will be good. Very handy in a dispenser as well. Your scrapbook page is lovely. Have a great crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Morning Christine, glad you are feeling better! The layout is fabulous and reading about your day made me smile as it is virtually like mine! We rise at 5am on a week day and I'm usually up at 5.30 weekends..see to our hens and craft before breakfast. I can't just sit and watch TV either - have to do something! Wanted to say thanks for telling us about the Mystik adhesive, I love it and will definitely be trying the new one! Carole Z X

Morning Christine,
Glad to hear that you are beating the cough. You and Carole Z make me feel tired wish I slept well enough to rise that early I'm a very fitful sleeper, but being retired it doesn't matter too much.
Love the layout and will have to watch out for this sticky runner, I suppose they are like sticky dots.
Wonderful idea for the rose creations my favourite flower dies
Have a good day.

Morning Christine, Absolutely love your scrapbook page, the colours are beautiful and go together really well. The micro beads look lovely on the flower edges, the new adhesive sounds like a 'must have' (joining my long list, getting longer by the day ha ha). Love the tape runners anyway but these new sticky dots seem fantastic. Glad your cough is much better. Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Christine, Love the layout, the white chocolate buttons with hundreds and thousands on.....yes you can still get them, they're called Jazzles also know as snowies, Next did a HUGE jar of them at Christmas.... but one of our local sweetie stores does them too in bags. My son loves them as does my grand-daughter.

Hi Christine, so pleased to hear you are feeling better. Our local sweet shop sells jazzies and snowies loose by the quarter! I used to love all the left over beads at the bottom of the bag! Lovely layout today and such a marvellous product too, enjoy the rest of your weekend x

Morning Christine - so glad you are on the mend! The adhesive sounds really good and I will be trying it out soon as I can get it.

As for your scrapbook page - this is lovely - you have some really beautiful papers and these compliment each other so well. Pretty pic as well! I love the microbeads on the tips of the petals, hope you don't mind if I 'pinch' that idea lol!!

Hi Christine, good to hear that you are feeling better, nothing worse than a summer cold! This LO is absolutely gorgeous, love how you have 'shadowed' the larger mat and of course love the butterflies too. That glue sounds amazing, especially if it can glue so many things, like micro beads - will try it. Crafty hugs, Anne xx

Hi Christine, glad you are beating that cough. Well done you. Love today's project, how pretty. Will hop over to tonic and get some when available. I have never had much luck with this type of dispenser before, mine always stopped half ways through the never to go again - obviously I was using an inferior quality product.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
