The Sunday News...

Hello friends

Weather news:
Talk about four seasons in one day - did you get the strange weather yesterday?
Sunshine one minute, gale force winds and torrential rain the next!
Bella was not impressed!

Brilliant news:
Marion Emberson is coming to Hope and Chances Creativity!
(We share the same surname but we are not related).
I've been wanting Marion to come along for ages and she was all prepared last year,
her crafty bags were packed with WOW! Embossing goodies
but of course things changed on my home front and it meant postponing.
Now it is a definite - Marion is going to be teaching two classes on Sunday 27 April -
if you would like to know how to multi-colour emboss, resist techniques and more then
please visit the website to book a class.
This image is of the cover of a mini album I created with Marion last year, featuring
stamping/embossing and making flowers from silicone moulds
Such fun!

Knitting news:
Squares are moving to different a table and the joining continues.  I really enjoy
the crocheting but I'm at risk of forgetting to do other things - I get so engrossed!

Elliott news:
A day off meant Elliott was glued to his computer playing games and this sign
was affixed to his door!
I think he's allowed a bit of 'me' time!

Good news:
Mr Roofer Man was extremely nice and it appears my roof should not be too much
of a problem. Phew!

Sending a message out to Pat Witney - sorry to hear your hospital visit wasn't so
good yesterday and I do hope better news is around the corner.

Wishing you all a happy Sunday.
Take care friends.

Morning Christine

Boy the weather was awful yesterday. I was out shopping fortunately I was in a shopping centre so not out in it. The wind was so strong that it blew the huge door mats around and there was a couple of the temporary stalls lost their stock!!! Pleased to hear that your roof is not going to be too expensive. I bet the workshops with Marion are fabulous, just wish I could be there

Hope you enjoy what is left of the weekend

Good Morning Christine, We had great weather until about 4pm then violent rain, thunder & lightening. But at the moment we have not had the forecast of torrential rain that is predicted today. Had to read your blog twice as I got to "book Classes here" and had to do just that. Hope Elliott enjoyed his "Me" time. Take care, Valerie

Morning Christine,
Weather was not great here yesterday, my dog got so muddy yesterday on our walk, I popped her straight in the sink when we got home. Then we went to the Theatre last night by bus so we could have a meal and bottle of wine beforehand and got drenched. Never mind we had a good evening anyway. Good news about your roof, and workshops, and hope Elliott emerges from his room refreshed today.
Enjoy your Sunday.

So glad the roofer was positive - those things can be expensive. We had rain in showers, hail and a thunder storm yesterday, interspersed with a bit of sun, (Ireland) so I guess it was all over the place. Its raining with high winds here today, and we have orange warnings out for the weather.
I wonder if you are going to break records with those blankets. Do you need any more?

Aw I really love Marion's designs, wish I lived nearer! Yes, we too had the most weird weather yesterday...we were out at the garden centre in the morning saying how sunny and even warm for the time of year it was..then we got home and let the hens out in the garden..,and whoosh, the poor ladies were running for cover! We had hail, thunder.. and I don't think it's stopped raining since :( Carole Z XX

Morning Christine. Sorry haven't posted recently. Getting a parcel ready to send you...more squares +! We had similar weather here yesterday with thunder & lightening and the rain was so heavy, I seriously thought it might damage the conservatory roof. Snow is forecast for next week!Hope Elliott enjoyed his bit of 'me time'. We all need a bit of space and time to chill. Looks like you are set for a busy crafting year, Christine.Enjoy today. Morning Christine,
I agree it was a funny old day weather wise sun in the morning then heavy showers and then late afternoon thunder & lightning. Not raining at the moment but it's dull.
Made me smile seeing the notice on Elliot's door, but he does deserve some me time.
The squares to growing at a very fast rate, wonder how many blankets you will end up with.
Enjoy your Sunday.

We had freak weather too and it gave me a massive migraine so not good at all. Glad you managed to reschedule Marion. Glad the roof isn't too much of an expense for you and will be sorted soon. Nice to see Elliott having some play time. Hope you have a great weekend xx hazel

Oh my we are in for a day of rain and storms. So it's play time all day and no dog walking. Well maybe later if it eases off a bit. I do wish you were a bit nearer, I would book a class immediately, but the travelling across country would be mad. Do try and put a video on and we'll all benefit afterwards! xxMargaretxx

I had to chuckle at Elliott's door message, that was everyone 'told' eh !! Hope he enjoyed his 'me' time.
Wow, look at all the knitted squares, stunning.

A shout-out to Pat Witney - my thoughts and prayers are with you, here's hoping you get much better news next time.

Lots of love from Patricia xx
